Our final day!

This day was rather chilled to be honest but by this time the sun had come out and it was SO warm that we were able to get some skin out and make the most of our last full day!

IMG_4320As soon as we got up we headed over the Milan Canals to have a look around. I swear all cities have a canal! This was so beautiful with shops and bakeries lining each side. There were bars and restaurants filling the air of the sweet smell of pizza. Okay pizza doesn’t smell sweet but it does smell A-Mazing and that is good enough for me!

Have you heard of cannoli? They are like a creamy killed pastry roll and they are the sweetest most lovely little treat which originate from Italy. Anyway, back to it! On the side of the canal we got out hands on some of the best cannoli I have ever eaten!

We then proceeded to eat lunch (pizza again) and had some Italian gelato and headed towards the local park and rented some bikes. So in London they have bikes which you can rent, they have these I’m Milan too, so we decided to rent some bikes and go for a ride to look around and experience as much as we could. This was hilarious! 1. I fell off. 2. If you haven’t rode a bike for a long time it is very hard to get back into it!

Finally we headed back to the roof top bars in the centre and had a few drinks to celebrate our time and say farewell to the fabulous Milan!

Have you got any cities you would recommend?
