I am an avid Youtube watcher and I love watching peoples morning routine videos so thought I would do my own except its not a video!


IMG_1411My morning start early! My alarm goes off at 5:55am every morning! I have two dogs and my other half goes to work before I even wake up so it is my job to walk the dogs every morning wether its rain or shine! As soon as I wake up I reach to my bedside table and sprits my face with the Body shop Vitamin E spray. I find this really refreshing and it just helps me get out of bed so early and ready to go straight out.

As it is now lighter in the mornings (which makes me VERY happy) I am able to take my dogs to the park which is 2 minutes away from my house. This is so handy and the dogs love it as they are able to get off the lead and go for a run with me. I usually try do 2-3 laps around the end of the park I am at depending on the time and the weather.
Once I get home, which is usually about 6:30 – 6:45am I will go straight to my blender and make myself a smoothy. This usually contains raspberry, banana, apple or mango. I then mix this with water until it is a smooth consistency. I find that having a smoothy in the morning makes me feel more awake and refreshed ready. By kicking off the day so healthy I feel it makes me want to stick to it throughout the day therefore resulting in a healthy day all round.

I then will finally be able to sit down and catch up on my emails or social media whilst drinking my smoothy. Once it’s all gone I can then go and have a shower, do my make up and leave for work all by half 7.
Some of you might say that I take a long time to get ready but I hate feeling rushed and being late hence why I do get up so early. So there you go! There is a quick run through of my morning routine! Is your  morning anything like mine?

      1. It’s interesting this becasue this morning I overslept. It was a nice lay in but I got to work late…
        But having dogs does mean you have to do this sort of thing, I have two dogs, but one is old so running with her isn’t really an option. But it would be nice to be able to jump out of bed and go for even a ten minute run as at the moment I’m pretty unfit.
        Good on for for doing it, the light mornings and warm weather are a god send I know. ๐Ÿ™‚

  1. I didn’t want to read this. I was thinking why the heck would I want to know someone’s morning routine and why are there YouTube videos of other people’s routines? Is THAT what you really watch? It doesn’t seem like something I would be interested in. But, I did read it this! I looked at the certain times you do stuff and I kept reading. I like the smoothies. So I read the whole thing and thought “interesting” and “impresive”. So yeah I liked it. I usually wake up early and help my wife by checking her feet to see if they are getting proper circulation and the necrosis hasn’ t spread. And if she is having a rough time I help her get dressed. I like to write in the morning which in a way is bad because I try to cram everything down in like 1 hour. I do watch videos. 100 different things from music videos to Neil Tyson Degrasse. I drink coffee and we make a smoothie. I can’t eat smoothies everyday though. I do have them twice a week though but I put in vegetables in mine along with fruits. I work out at different times. Never in the morning because my body already runs hot and if I worked out I would get dehydrated. So I work out in the evenings and days off. I used to ride my bike but someone stole it. Sometimes I take my wife for a walk different places in Vegas. Stuff like that.

  2. Wow do you really get up at 5 in the morning! I wish I had your motivation I usually take a good half hour to get out of bed in the morning!
    Also are those your dogs in the background in the running picture? Because they look so adorable!

  3. I love to read or watch people’s morning routines fro inspiration and I loved yours ๐Ÿ™‚ I hope I can keep up a routine like yours :p
