I can’t get enough of my Threads eyelashes so I figured why not get another look going and this actually turned out better than expected! When adding a splash of glitter or shimmer into a look I feel that you just can’t go wrong!
Firstly I started by applying the L’Oreal infallible foundation in Vanilla. I then use the Nars Creamy concealer in the shade Chantilly. For this I apply this in a triangle shape under the eyes, around the nose and then a little on the chin. Using a damp beauty blender I then dab the concealer until I feel this is completely blended into the face.
Next I use the Elizabeth Arden eyebrow powder to define the brows and then move onto the eyes!
So taking a large blending brush and using my Lancome Travel Palette I take the shade Brown F60 and apply this to the outer corner and into the crease of the eye. I then take a small detailing brush and apply the shade Gold F30 to the inner corner of the eye. I feel that adding this to the corner of the eye makes the eye look brighter that splash of light colour makes the eye pop.
Next I take a small flat brush and gently, I tap the colour Pink quad F30 into the centre of the eyelid. The reason I tap this onto the eye is so that the colour doesn’t fall onto the skin below the eye and we wouldn’t want to loose any of the shimmer would we!
I then take the L’Oreal Super liner and apply this to the top of the eye starting from the inner corner and then taking it out towards the outer side and creating a small flick at the edge of the eye. I did not want the flick to be too big for this as the lashes and the colour of the shadow is what I wanted the main focus to be on for this look. I also apply a black liner to the lower lid as well.
I then apply the Bo-Bop lashes by Threads Beauty. These lashes are everything at the moment. The add so much to every look and they are just so beautiful and comfy to wear. I also apply the Benefit They’re real mascara to the lashes to make my own blend in with the false ones and to make them darker.
I then use a contour brush and apply a small amount of bronzer to the temples of the head taking it down towards just under the cheek bones then under the jaw. To apply this I use the brush and basically draw a 3 motion on the face and repeat this on each side so that it defines the cheeks. I then use the Collection 2000 chubby stick illuminator and apply this to the top of the cheek bones and the cupid bow of the lip.
Finally the lips. I line the lips using the Mac Whirl liner. Everyone is into over lining lips at the moment making them look bigger which is fine BUT if I do that I just look ridiculous. Maybe I’m not very good at it, I don’t know, it just looks silly. I look like a clown. So anyway, I line my actual lips with this pencil making sure it is sharp as lining the lips with a pencil that isn’t sharp can leave the colour to spread and not be as defined as I would have liked. I then use a Soap and Glory nude lipstick over the rest of the lips.
This is my final look! I hope you like it! Leave your comments below and give me a follow if you like what you see.
