I was lucky enough to be sent some amazing false lashes from a company called Threads and so when I decided to give them a try I thought I would show you the look I go for and so you can see how the lashes look for yourself because I am in love.
Firstly I used the Urban Decay pore perfecting primer all over the face. I then apply the L’Oreal Infallible foundation in the shade Vanilla using my Real Techniques foundation brush. This foundation is a little dark for me without false tan on so I make sure I blend the foundation down my neck so that it looks more natural.
I then use the Elizabeth Arden eyebrow palette to make the eyebrows look more defined. I then use the Nars palette and apply the medium brown shade to the crease of the eye just to make the eye look a little bit smokey and darker. I then use the Rimmel London Liquid eyeliner in black and create a flick from the outer corner to the centre corner of the eye. I make sure this looks quite natural as you go towards the middle of the eye as I do not want this to look too much as for this look I want the eyelashes to get the attention not the flick.
I then apply the lashes to the upper lid but removing from their packaging and trimming them to fit my eye. I then bend the strip on flashes until they are more flexible, I do this as I feel this makes them easier to apply and they fit onto the eye better looking more natural. These lashes are hand made and so they are really comfortable and easy to apply. I then apply the glue to the strip and place these onto the eye and hold for about 30 seconds so I’m sure they are stuck on (which they do perfectly!)
I then apply a red lipstick to the lips. The colour I am using for this look is the Mac Lady Danger so this is quite a bright red. The red lips and the lashes make such a classic look and is so affective and dramatic I would really wear this look for all occasions!
