Photos are rarely unedited in magazines and social media and I am a lover of editing apps from everything to ‘healing’ to just adding a filter, these are a few of my favourite editing apps for you to try for yourself just to give your photos that extra special touch and as I am not, by any means, a photoshop expert (in fact I can’t work it out to save the life of me) I have had to resort to all different free apps to help me along my way.

1. Snapseed. This app has been around since 2011 and is great for small details. If you have something you want to remove (a spot which you where not planning on having) this is the app for you, with its healing element it is great to make any selfie look flawless.

2. VSCOcam. With its gorgeous filters and amazing brightness and contrast this app brings to your photos this is one reason why you should step away from the basic Instagram filters. VSCOcam is a bit tricky to use at first but when you get the hand of it, this is the app to turn your average photo into a work of art.

3. PS express. Okay this is basically photoshop. This has a range of filters and you can even save your own edits to apply to other photos. This app has red eye reduction and my god it works amazing! No longer are we having to deal with polaroid blur or crazy eye colours as things like that can change the way we look at the world.

I would love to know if you have any different apps you like to use and let me know if you do!

  2. Morning facecameraaction!

I use the photo-editing apps on my android, Samsung cell. I don’t think there are as many options for an androids as there are for an iPhone. Again, great post!

Your profile pic is beautiful! Have a fantastic weekend!

      1. You are welcome!! I will admit…the android offers fabulous YouTube watching, but the iphone takes it away for all other categories. (In a soft voice) I know I will find my way back to the iphone shortly! I adore the thought of Desi Perkins on YouTube taking a blemish out of her face with a tap of an app on her iphone! 😀
