In January everyone is trying to get rid of that Christmas bulge but we all still love a treat every now and then so what is better than a guilt free cake?!
2 Large Eggs
2 tbsp Honey
2 Cups of Oats
1 1/2 tbsp baking powder
1/2 tbsp baking soda
1/2 tbsp vanilla extract
1 cup Greek Yogurt
This is literally the simplest mixture ever and these cakes are SO easy to make! Firstly you add all the ingredients into a blender leaving out the chocolate chips… and blend. That is it! The last thing you want is for your cakes to have bits of oat in so it’s best to mix for a little longer than you think so that the oats are completely blended.
I only have smoothie maker so I have used this to blend but it works exactly the same so if you are starting to read this and think ‘I don’t have a blender’ don’t worry, a smoothie maker or a hand whisk will work the same as long as you make sure the oats are completely gone then your in for a winner!
Once the mixture is smooth you can add in the chocolate chips and mix in together with everything else. You can then pour the mixture into cake cases and place into the oven at 200 degrees and leave to cook for around 15 minutes. I have also added some more chocolate chips onto the top of the mixture.
Once the cakes have risen you can then remove these from the oven and leave to cool or just eat them while they are still warm! The mixture of the banana and chocolate is the most delicious taste so I hope you like them!
