With everyone out painting the town red at this time of year what better than a chance to play with your make up look and jazz it up a little!
Firstly I apply the Benefit that gal primer and then the Nars Luminous foundation in the shade ‘Fiji’. I then take the Nars Radiant Creamy concealer and apply this to under the eyes in a large triangle shape taking this down towards the centre of the cheek. I then take the Anastasia Beverly hill contour palette and using a large round brush and apply the lightest colour under the eyes and in the centre of the forehead. I then take the medium brown colour and apply this to the edges of my nose and then under my cheek bones going downwards in line from the top of the ear.
I then colour in my eye brows using the Elizabeth Arden eyebrow palette in the shade Brown to make the eyebrows look more defined.
I then take the Nars eyeshadow palette and apply the purple shade to the crease of the eye, I then take the Laura Mercier Eye pencil in Mauve and apply this to the lower line of the eye along with the top corner of butter eye lid. I then take the black shade and apply this to the corner of the upper eye lid as well. This eye is trying to look like a smokey eye and to help this the darker colours on the outer corner of the eye helps create the effect. I then apply the black to the lower lid as well.
I then take the white colour and apply this to the centre corner of the eye. Finally I take a blending brush and blend the eyeshadow together taking it from the inside outwards and bringing the shading up to the eyebrow. These colours create a dark smokey purple colour from having the shadow and the eye pencil together.
I then apply the Nars Mascara to the upper and lower lashes to make these look longer and the eyes bigger.
I then move onto the lips. For this I didn’t want them too dark as the eyes already look dark so I use a white liner and colour the centre of the lips in so they look brighter. I then apply Mac lipstick in the shade Shy girl. This is a light pink shimmer colour which is perfect for this time of year.
I then apply the Benefit Benetint to the top of the cheek bones up to above the eyebrows this creates make the face look like its glowing and adds a shimmer to the cheek bones. To finish the look I use the Bare minerals Finishing powder lightly brushed over the whole face. This is to make the make up stay in place for the whole night while your party the night away!
