I have been playing with different brands recently and have really found some great products so I thought I would try out a different look today and I hope you like or maybe even take some inspiration from it and give your own style a mix up!
Firstly I used the Urban Decay primer and then used my go to foundation of the moment, the Elizabeth Arden double wear in shade 2. I then mixed it up and applied my highlighter to the top of my cheek bones and only my eyebrow bone. I love this look leave as it gives a shine to the parts of the face I want to pop and leave the skin looking dewy.
I then apply my bronzer and blusher. For this I use the same brand blusher and bronzer being Lord and Berry. I have only heard of this brand recently and I must admit I am now quite a fan. I applied the bronzer under my cheek bones to create a contour look and then I applied the blusher (in shade Lotus) to the balls of my cheeks. These colours are both really pigmented and therefore you only need a really small bit of product and can still get the desired look.
I then apply eyeshadow to my eyebrows to apply some colour to them as I have been finding recently that my eyebrows are getting too dark, maybe this is because my hair is just getting lighter and my skin getting paler as winter draws in but still, I don’t want my eyebrows to look crazy. So I used the Urban Decay naked palette 2 shade ‘Verve’ which is a really light brown and this is perfect for me at the moment.
Moving onto the eyes. This is a bit strange but it works so bare with me to witness the finished result. Get some sellotape and cut away a small piece about an inch long, then stick this to the edge of your eye at an angle from the outer corner of the eyelid to the edge of your eyebrow. This is so that the eyeshadow and liner doesn’t intrude on the rest of the face and leaves it looking neat.
I then use the eyeshadow palette by ‘Pop’ which has 3 shades in starting with a silver then peach then a copper colour. Again these are all pigmented to the max so you need the tiniest bit of product and the colour applies so nicely. Firstly apply the silver to the inner corner of the eye going towards the centre of the eye. I then took the copper colour and applied this to the outer corner of the eye in line with the edge of the sellotape and then into the crease of the eye. Finally I apply the peach colour to the centre of the eye and blending the copper together to create a darker colour on the outside going inwards.
I then take my Eyeko fat eyestick in a khaki gold colour and line along the top of the eyelid, again starting from the outside inwards and then a small flick going in line with the sellotape. I felt a bit crazy wearing sellotape on my face but trust me!
I then complete both the eyes the same and remove the tape. This will leave a defined line leaving the colour looking defined of where it is meant to be. If any foundation has come away, just take the foundation brush and lightly brush over the section although it shouldn’t look too different if any colour has come away. I then curled my eyelashes and applied my mascara. To finish the look I apply my Stella lip glaze in a pink and that is the look finished.
